PlayStation Home has now hit 10 million registered users. For a comparison (and the only comparison I can think of), Second Life announced earlier this year they have 15 million registered users. Taking into account Second Life is freely available on PC, Linux and Mac and has been running for over 6 years now, you have to applaud Home’s triumph in getting gamers to go online and explore Home.

With the recent release of Sodium (which in my opinion, deserved a hype campaign to build the suspense like Xi received) there are now hundreds of things to do in Home and more than enough reason to spend a quality amount of time there. After only one year of open beta, the service has evolved and shows no signs of stopping.

Along with the announcement of the impressive user count, some information regarding the Motorstorm space has been released. Not much more is known, but as ever, it is “set to arrive soon”.

…the MotorStorm space, for example, is decked-out as a garage-come-industrial warehouse, complete with DJ area, dancefloors and chill-out zones, while offering new merchandise and quest rewards.

Didn’t we have this space already?…..so unless something new was added I think Home users would agree that PS Home would rather skip this space….How about FFXIII space for NA and EU

No. The Motorstorm space available earlier this year was a teaser for the new space coming out soon and was available for a short time only.
The old Motorstorm space closed after a few weeks and was covered with concept art for the new space.
